Commemorative Nancy Berkowitz Congress Scholarship

The Nancy Berkowitz Congress Scholarship will enable the ONS Foundation to distribute, for the life of the fund, one Congress scholarship annually to a nurse interested in attending the ONS Congress. Nancy touched many ONS lives through the coordination of Congress. Individuals interested in receiving scholarships to offset their registration, travel, and per diem expenses to attend the ONS Congress are eligible to apply for Congress Scholarships.

Honoring Nancy Berkowitz, Oncology Nursing Society’s First Employee

In 1978, Nancy was hired as the very first and, at that time, the only ONS employee. We are proud and happy to say that she stayed with us for more than 25 years. Nancy coordinated many memorable ONS events in her daily work. Nancy worked to plan the Annual Congress, Fall Institutes, and Institutes of Learning. In addition, Nancy arranged for numerous board, council, and committee meetings as well as all staffrelated activities. Join us in recognizing Nancy’s dedication and commitment to oncology nursing.
